You can find a list of classic car events for June in the column to the right. Looks like it should be a great month. It gets off to a good start this week with various Grand Prix related events and builds from there.
One show I hadn’t been aware of before is the Shelburne Museum Classic Car Festival in Shelburne, Vermont. While it’s open to all vehicles from 1990 and before, they’ve issued a special invitation to Cadillacs of any age or condition for a tribute display. Seems it was a native Vermonter, Henry Leland, who founded Cadillac back in 1902. What caught my attention, though, is that they’re planning on having a 1910 Sears Roebuck automobile arrive at the museum’s train station in a crate (as they came from Sears), which will then be assembled, started up and driven. I’d really like to see that.
Unfortunately, I can’t find anything to indicate that Cornwall’s MOPAR Madness is on this year. If anyone knows otherwise, please tell me! In the meantime, I have added a similar show being held in Vermont.
